Supreme Thursdays are back in full effect and hopeful fans were eager to try and cop items on their hit list. One of the most coveted pieces from the popular skatewear’s first online drop of the 2017 fall/winter season is undoubtedly the Nas photograph tee. Like with any other release, the photograph tees which have included other rappers like Raekwon, Dipset and Gucci Mane tend to sell out the quickest.
The Nas T-shirts came in various colors but the black option sold out the fastest, clocking in at 37 seconds. The brown and heather grey followed at just around the minute mark while the pale blue, lime green, and red exited shopping carts just a few seconds after. The white version sold out the slowest but it’s worth noting that lagging server performances hindered all sellout times. While there’s no exact number, stock for the white tees were most likely done at around or before two minutes. The white tee was actually outperformed by the ‘Blood and Semen’ skate deck, selling out at 99 seconds.
As exciting as Apple’s Watch Series 3, TV 4K and iPhone 8 and 8 Plusannouncements are, those tuning in to today’s event at the Steve Jobs Theater had one thing on their minds: the oft-rumored iPhone X. And, naturally, Apple didn’t disappoint, concluding the event by officially taking the wraps off of the anniversary rendition of its beloved smartphone. Billed by Tim Cook as “the future of the smartphone,” the design — referred to as the “iPhone ten” — is intended to “set the path for technology for the next decade.”
As you might expect, the X shares some similarities with the upcoming iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. Utilizing the same water- and dust-resistant glass front and back with a surgical-grade stainless steel chassis, the X supports the Qi open wireless charging standard — as well as Apple’s own proprietary AirPower charger, which is coming next year and will support the iPhones, Watch, and a new AirPods case — and features the same A11 Bionic chip as the 8 and 8 Plus. The similarities largely end there, however, as the X vastly improves upon its predecessor. New is a 5.8″ OLED edge-to-edge Super Retina display with TrueTone and HDR technologies. That new display means that the ubiquitous home button has, as expected, gone by the wayside. Instead, users can now access their home screen simply by swiping up from the bottom while app switching is achieved by swiping from side to side.
So how will you unlock the iPhone X if the home button and Touch ID are nowhere to be found? Instead of Touch ID, the X will utilize Apple’s new Face ID, making use of the TrueDepth camera system along the top of the display to unlock through advanced facial recognition. And don’t worry if you decide to grow a beard or switch up your hairstyle; machine learning ensures that your phone will continue to recognize you no matter what. Best of all, though? The system can’t be spoofed and is actually even more secure than Touch ID — Apple says there’s a 1-in-1,000,000 chance someone can trick Face ID.
Other additions include dual optical image stabilization for both the wide-angle and telephoto lenses on the rear of the camera, a forward-facing camera that now supports Portrait Mode, and better battery life than the iPhone 7.
The Apple iPhone X will be available to pre-order come October 27 at 12:01 PDT and launches on November 3 in both Silver and Space Grey options. Prices start at $999 USD for the 64GB models and $1,149 USD for the 256GB versions.
Converse Officially Unveils Tyler, The Creator’s Golf Le Fleur x One Star Collection
Like many of today’s classic shoes of the past, the Converse One Star has navigated a self-blazed path through cultural booms across the nation. Originally releasing in suede with upgraded traction and foam-backed tongue, the One Star (originally a performance upgrade to the All-Star) became a cult hit in the Seattle grunge rock scene of the early 90s and would later become a go-to option for skaters.
2017 has proven to be yet another banner year for the One Star, with epic collaborations with the most influential shops and creatives around the world creating even more demand around the shoes. This August, Converse will launch its largest collaborative collection to date with none other than Tyler, The Creator, the West Coast-based hip-hop artist whose unconventional rise to the top proved to be the magnetic force behind his wild fanbase.
The Tyler, The Creator x Converse One Star “Le Fleur” collection includes four distinct colorways of the One Star, with flower stitching around the Star logo on the upper, custom artwork on the insoles, and messaging straight from Tyler. The One Star x Golf Le Fleur collection releases worldwide and on Converse.com on August 3rd; the shoes are priced at $100, hoodies are $90, and tees are $35.

Calling back to their roots, Vans is ready to launch another “Anaheim Factory” pack this fall. Inspired by the original Anaheim, California Vans factory which once manufactured all of their shoes in the 1960’s and 70’s, the pack contains the Authentic, Old Skool, and Sk8-Hi in materials, colors, and constructions that you would have found in the factory back in that era. This collection also puts their iconic checkerboard motif at center stage, presented on the Authentic and Old Skool in the traditional black and white color as well as a white and pink version.
Dropping this Saturday, July 15th in Japan, expect the latest “Anaheim Factory” pack to launch in the US later this summer. In other Vans news, check out the Chinese silk inspired Slip-Ons just released by Opening Ceremony.
